VIN Inspections are done at the Sheriff’s Office Monday – Friday 8am-4pm.

Sheriff’s Office CAN NOT do inspections for Antique, Classic, Salvaged, or Rebuilt vehicles. There must be 17 digits in the VIN number for us to inspect it.

ITEMS NEEDED TO BRING WITH YOU:

• Original Title or Certified Copy (Can be obtained at Thomas County Treasurer’s Office.
• Valid United States Drivers License or ID Card ( no Mexico or International ID’s will be accepted)
• $20.00 EXACT CASH ONLY,
• Vehicle must be present
